Seanniece Bamiro

Seanniece Bamiro has worked on all levels of government advocating for policy change. Her experience includes coalition building, creating policy platforms, writing and advocating for legislation, progressive electoral campaigns, and community organizing. Most recently, she was a congressional policy fellow with the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center and the Office of Congresswoman Barbara Lee, working to center the rights of people of color through political education and advocating for increased budget allocations for critical poverty alleviation, reproductive justice and re-entry programs. In 2020, she was named one of Prince George’s 40 Under 40” for her ongoing organizing and policy advocacy for police accountability in her community She obtained her BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her master’s in public policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
