Sara Yousuf spent 13 years as an assistant public defender in Miami before joining The Justice Collaborative. As an Assistant Public Defender, Sara served as a line-attorney, a felony and juvenile trainer, and as a senior attorney. Sara also co-founded and chaired Engage Miami, a nonprofit dedicated to cultivating a generation of civically-engaged young people. Sara graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005.
