Rachel Marshall was the Director of Communications and Policy Advisor for San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin until she was fired by interim DA Brooke Jenkins. She and Boudin cohost Chasing Justice, a podcast about criminal justice reform. She spent nearly a decade working as a public defender in Oakland.
