Michael Capers graduated from Bard College through the Bard Prison Initiative. He is currently working toward becoming a nutrition counselor and fitness coach. Michael was incarcerated for 12 years and now advocates for those still inside. He lives in New York, where he spends his free time enjoying the company of his family.
