Mario Koran is a freelance investigative reporter based in Wisconsin. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Voice of San Diego, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism. He is also a former inmate at the Wood County Jail.
