Brandi McNeil

Senior Legal Analyst

Brandi worked as a public defender for six years before joining The Justice Collaborative. For nearly four years, Brandi served as a staff attorney at the Orleans Public Defenders with a primary focus on representing children accused of crimes in adult and juvenile court. She also represented adults charged with serious felonies. Prior to her work at the Orleans Public Defenders, Brandi participated in the E. Barrett Prettyman Fellowship Program as the Juvenile Fellow. As a fellow, she represented young people and adults charged with misdemeanors and felonies, and supervised third-year law students in the Juvenile Justice Clinic. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and both a masters in social work and JD from New York University.
